I Love JovoVe

So this is a digital artwork I did based on JovoVe’s style of art! I don’t use caps on here too often but HE IS AMAZING AND I WISH I DREW AND COLORED LIKE HIM. I ALSO HOPE I WIN ONE OF THE VENDETTA T-SHIRTS HE’S GIVING AWAY BECAUSE HE’S POSTING THE WINNERS TOMORROW AND I KNOW I WAS PROBABLY THE FIRST PERSON TO ENTER!!

Check out www.paintednumbers.tumblr.com to see the amazingness!

But anyway, I made this as the background for my Communications Writing webpage last semester which I’m still a little too proud of :’) I still wish I had coded the entire thing myself for bragging rights, but sadly I am not blessed in the area of web like some of my friends are. I tried reteaching myself code and everything. And then I gave in to SeaMonkey. But I think mine was one of the best pages. Just doing the art for it was more time and effort than just slapping text and a background color on it =/

I know this little thing is nothing like JovoVe’s art, but it’s my homage to his beautiful style that I ADORE.

The Wonders of a Big Fat Red Hoodie

So this is seriously as simple as it gets. Just a big fat red hoodie. In my case, it would be a big fat red Adidas hoodie. But of course, now that I actually have the money to buy it it’s out of stock. I should just be used to these things already! *cries tears of fashion pains*

But how you wear a hoodie is always up to you. Whether with jeans (lazy version), shorts (impractical, but cute version), a pencil skirt and tights (GYARU version), or nylon tricot leggings from American Apparel (Hillary version, obviously), a hoodie can be pulled off. Especially with some cool sneakers and a big ol’ necklace.

Big necklaces are very necessary.

The Pink Ninja

So once again, I’ve gone a long period without updating. I need to stop doing that. But here’s this “graphic” I made unintentionally in Photoshop when I was trying to draw something xD I seriously messed up on coloring the hair and ended up with this. Somehow, it looked good and a lot of people liked it. Even though it clearly needs some more editing before it’s officially finished.

For some reason, whenever I don’t take a drawing seriously people love it more than things I actually put effort into :/

By the way, this is NOT based on Nicki Minaj. I’ve gotten that way too much DD:

B+B+B: Laura

Last Christmas, my friends, Laura and Dasha, and I decided to have a little fun and plan and style a photoshoot! I got the inspiration from primary colors and called it B+B+B: Bold, Beautiful, & Burgers. Silly, I know! Even though I was getting a little tired of looking at them after a while, I’m still very proud of these photos. So here are Laura’s pictures. Enjoy!

Blue + Orange

Hello, readers! Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted. I was without Internet and cable for a little over two weeks and it was a huge setback in updating my blog. Hopefully, that won’t happen again. So I’ve got another fashion sketch for you.

I drew this much earlier in the summer when I was in love with blue and orange as a color combination. I can’t remember correctly, but I feel as if I saw this outfit in a dream. Seriously. So I got up one night and sketched it before I forgot what it looked like! This outfit is a bit more simple than some of the others I’ve done. It’s a simple loose, blue tank with orange shorts and they can both be found at Forever 21. I think a purple tank might also be an interesting color choice. For accessories, I’d wear a statement necklace, a stack of bracelets, and some simple earrings. That’s all there is to it 🙂

Here are some other interesting blue and orange combinations!
